Psychological support for diabetes patients

The London Mental Health Strategic Clinical Network has developed a guide to provide recommendations for commissioners in providing emotional and psychological support on the diabetes care pathway. The report has been shaped through surveys of London provision and discussions with both professionals and people with lived experience.

The ten recommendations are supported by more than 20 national and regional case studies covering a variety of models. This will be a useful resource not only for commissioners, but also for providers and practitioners.
